Initiatives with Iwate Hospice Association
This year marks the 16th year that we have been working with Iwate Hospice Association. It all started in 2009 when we saw their activities on a TV program and immediately contacted them to see if there was anything we could do. Initially, we only donated towels, but with the desire to do something that would reach the hearts of patients, we jointly developed towel hats that are comfortable to the touch in 2013. We manufacture and sell the towel hats, and donate 5% of sales to Iwate Hospice Association as support funds.
It is estimated that one in two people in Japan will develop cancer in their lifetime, making it a familiar disease. We will continue to work with Iwate Hospice Association to continue our activities that reach the hearts of patients, their families, and medical professionals.
