This towel is made with a waffle weave and has a fine texture, woven only with special hollow yarn that contains a lot of air. It is characterized by its lightness and fluffy softness, as if it contains air. Patented in 7 countries both in Japan and overseas.
Non-twisted yarn gauze dots
Double-faced pile and gauze. Woven with dots of non-twisted yarn for a soft feel against the skin. Long pile for a fluffy, soft feel.

A gauze that is gentle on the skin is woven from a blend of rayon and cotton with fine powder of binchotan charcoal mixed in. The fine holes on the surface of the charcoal adsorb odor molecules, providing a high deodorizing effect.
Developments in the European market
In 1988, we established a representative office in Paris, France. We have expanded our business in the European market mainly through exhibitions, and in 2007, we exhibited at Heimtextil, one of the world's largest home textile trade fairs, and since 2008, we have also exhibited at Maison & Objet, the world's largest interior and design exhibition held in Paris every year, while strengthening our sales channel development. While heavy towels are considered luxury items in the European market, our towels and clothing, which have the exact opposite characteristics of being light and soft, are gradually recognized as a high-quality brand due to the feel that is woven with outstanding technology. In 2008, we expanded our business to the long-established luxury department store Le Bon Marché in Paris, and in 2012, to the luxury department store Harrods in London. We also undertake the manufacturing of products for famous haute couture brands, and are working to improve the UCHINO brand while developing unique materials. Currently, we are developing products that meet the needs of each country in 15 countries, including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain.
