About the Good for Your Body Awards 2024

1) Overview

The "Karada ni Ii Koto® Grand Prize" is an award given by the women's health magazine "Karada ni Ii Koto," now in its 20th year since publication (launched in December 2004), to products, services, techniques, etc. that are deemed "truly good for the body." The judges were the editorial staff, readers, and experts, and the products were selected based on criteria such as "easy to use and can be continued," "enjoyable and healthy living," and "reliable functionality."

2) Selection process

223 companies and 446 products were entered.

▶First selection
The 188 members of the Karada ni Ii Koto reader group and Karada ni Ii Koto ambassadors, along with the editorial staff, actually tried out samples of the products entered. All products were evaluated and scored based on the following criteria, and the 70 highest-scoring products passed the first round of selection.

We conducted an online poll that anyone can participate in on the "Good for Your Body Web." We asked participants to choose "Your Recommendation & Products You Would Like to Use" for each of the following categories.
A total of 18,994 votes were cast via the online voting system.

A panel of seven health and beauty professionals, along with our editorial team, actually tried out the products and gave them a score.

▶ Decision
The product with the highest total score across all categories was awarded the "Grand Prize" (1 point), the runner-up was awarded the "Semi-Grand Prize" (2 points). In addition, the "Editorial Award" (5 points) and "Judges' Award" (7 points) were awarded to products that received particularly high marks from the judges other than the Grand Prize and Semi-Grand Prize winners, and the "Web Special Award" (3 points) was awarded to the product that received the most votes in the online voting.
