What is the Edo Tokyo Kirari Project?
This initiative will highlight the techniques and products rooted in the traditions of Edo-Tokyo as Tokyo's "treasures," select ambitious and outstanding initiatives from among them as model businesses, refine them from a new perspective to increase their value, and share them with the world through more effective promotion. In addition, by refining the model businesses and disseminating information about them, we aim to establish the Tokyo brand, revive Tokyo as the home of manufacturing, enhance the appeal of traditional industries, and pass on skills.
A total of 29 model projects have been selected between fiscal 28 and fiscal XNUMX.

【theme】
We will promote to the world the idea that towels with a "stunning texture" created with delicate sensibilities and innovative technology can "create a comfortable lifestyle."
The brand will be strengthened through ethical manufacturing, which has been certified as Class I by Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, and the promotion of quality that appeals to the five senses. In addition, the brand will gain and expand its fan base both in Japan and overseas by providing opportunities to actually touch towels and gauze materials through exhibits at overseas exhibitions, and by disseminating information via social media, etc.
